A: Gel2D is a free/open-source, cross-platform, object-oriented, 2-dimensional game engine written in C++.
It aims to be an all-in-one solution for commercial-quality rapid game development.
A: Gel2D is still in its infancy; no one has made any games with it as of yet.
A: Not entirely. Gel2D is free for noncommercial use, as any work based on it must be released under the same
license: the GNU GPL.
If (and that's a big 'if'), in the coming months, Gel2D is developed to a point where there is sufficient demand by commercial
entities (highly unlikely), I might consider dual licensing the engine under the GNU GPL with an alternate commercial licensing option.
One thing is certain: Gel2D will always remain free (as in freedom).
A: Good question. I don't know.
A: Blue has been scientifically proven to be the 2nd most relaxing color to the eyes. I just want you to feel as comfortable as possible. :-)
